Interview Maps
While working with Innovation Initiatives at Pearson, I developed a new way to think about and visualize question pools.
Before we went out into the field to do contextual design research, the lead researcher and I compiled a large list (pool) of questions.
As an interaction designer, I think visually and spatially in terms of systems and flows, so a giant list kind of makes my brain explode. Thus for my interviews, I drew up interview maps to make the question pools less daunting.
This one in particular was for a friend pair of middle school students.
